3 people shot in drive-by on East 24th Street

Erie police were called to the 300 block of East 24th Street for multiple reports of a drive-by shooting around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said three men were hit, ages 18, 21 and 27. One man was shot in his left calf, the other two were shot in their feet.

Two victims went to Saint Vincent Hospital with gunshot wounds, one is at UPMC Hamot.

Police say all three have non-life threatening injuries.

Police retrieved five shell casings on scene.

No houses or cars were damaged.

The gun shots are believed to be from a mini van. Police are working to get more descriptions.

Police say they’re receiving little information from neighbors or victims at this time and will continue to investigate.
