400 east bayfront residents voice their concerns during ‘Summer of Hope’ door-to-door survey

Local News

The city of Erie is reviewing surveys from residents of east bayfront communities.  The main concern?  Safety.

The Summer of Hope door-to-door canvassing wrapped up last week for residential visits, but the team will survey business in that neighborhood this month.  Mayor Joe Schember, staff, and volunteers knocked on more than 1600 doors.

Now, the administration is discussing the feedback from about 400 residents.
