This is the 50th year for the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Show in Saegertown. From antique engines to tractors that have worked the land for generations, they’re all on display this weekend.
More than 300 tractors have been brought in for this popular event. Beside the machinery, many that worked for years in the oil and gas fields, there’s a lot for the entire family to enjoy. Dave Goodwill, President of the Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Society, tells us there are “several different food vendors on the grounds. We have pie, we have ice cream, live country music, blue grass music; should be a great time.”
The 50th Annual Show began at 9 this morning. Hours are 9a-9p today and Saturday, and 9a-3p on Sunday. Donation is $5, kids 12 and under get in for free.
Exit 154 off of I-79, on Route 198.
