Christmas just got a little brighter for dozens of children in Erie County with the help of local bikers.
The 8th annual Bikers of Erie County Toy and Supply Drive taking place tonight at the Saint Boniface Center. Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse or RAACA came up with the idea as a way to give back to the community. Clubs from around Erie County collect toys and then distribute them to several organizations including Crime Victims Center, Children’s Advocacy Center, Highmark Caring Place and Safe Horizons.
“Nobody believes that we give back. This is proof that we give back,” Carrie Faulk, media officer for RAACA Erie Co.
Toiletry supplies were also collected and will be given to the Veterans Miracle Network Center of Erie.
