The African American community is making sure their voices are heard over the future of the city’s CDBG funding.
Tonight, they take their message to city council.
The Erie branch of the NAACP and the African American concerned clergy are asking for numbers to show support for the City Council amendment to the HUD CDBG budget.
The groups plan to attend tonight’s city council meeting and push council to not allow a re-vote on the amendment, despite what’s being called a conflict of interest.
The meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
