Albion police chief suspended for a second time

The Albion Borough Council votes to suspend their police chief for the second time.

According to a report by the Erie Times News, the Borough Council voted 5-1 to suspend Police Chief Dan Ries for 12 days without pay. His suspension will begin on July 30th.  No word yet on why the chief was suspended. 

In June, the council voted 6-1 to suspend Ries for 10 days without pay.
