A new, statewide partnership will help those living with Alzheimer’s Disease.  The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Pennsylvania officially announcing a partnership with the PA Library Association.

The library association has an initiative called ‘PA Forward’.  It’s a platform for libraries to provide resources and information to the public in an effort to help patrons improve their quality of life.

Brandi Hunter-Davenport of the PA Library Association tells us, “The libraries can host these programs. They can be listed as a health literacy program, as an information literacy program, and they’re able to get the resource information out… what’s available in your local community.”

Sara Murphy of the Alzheimer’s Assoc of Greater PA says, “We can spread our message and expand our reach for those people who are living with Alzheimer’s Disease and their care partners.”
