An urgent search is underway in North Carolina for a missing 13-year-old girl abducted as she was waiting to go to school.
Hania Aguilar was last seen Monday outside her home in Lumberton, North Carolina, waiting for relatives to take her to school.
That’s when authorities say a man wearing all black and a yellow bandana covering his face stole a green SUV belonging to a relative of Hania’s and then forced the teen into the vehicle.
“They’re going door-to-door with our agents and our task force officers in the search for Hania.” Authorities are also using surveillance footage to try to assist in her return.
Investigators now calling on the public for help. There is a $15,000 reward for information leading to her return and officials have also set up a special tip line for information related to her disappearance. The tip line number is (910) 272-5871.
