Community members brought out their bow and arrow for a good cause.
The Presque Isle Field Archers held a fundraiser for one of their members, 14-year old Austin Drakulic.
Austin has brain cancer and members of the archery said they wanted to help.
Community members and businesses sponsored targets throughout the trail.
Money raised at the event will go to Austin’s family to tackle some of the medical bills.
“The community of archers is a great family and we all pull together and help each other out when needed. It’s a great friendship, companionship,” said Sally Wurst, the vice president of the Presque Isle Field Archers.
Those who put the event together said Austin is a strong kid with a positive attitude.
They told us his family is very involved in the archery community.
