An Erie County assistant district attorney is facing felony charges after police said he tried to grab an officer’s gun.

Erie police said Matthew Cullen, 34, approached a parked police cruiser in the 700 block of French Street around 6:30 a.m. on Monday, asked for an officer’s gun and stated he wanted to kill himself.
