One organization is stepping back in time and it’s all for a good cause.
Erie Homes for Children and Adults holding their 17th Annual Spring Event tonight. Guests were treated to a speak easy with music, food, games, an auction and drinks from the early 1900’s at the Concourse at Union Station One organizer says the theme is very important to the organization’s roots.
“This is really where the story of Erie Homes for Children and Adults began in 1912. Whenever our founding mothers would come to the train station and take charge of abandoned infants who were left here,” said Jonathan Rilling, VP Marketing, Advancement and Communications.
All of tonight’s proceeds help kids and adults with intellectual disabilities.
