Bayhawks watch party tomorrow night at Arena Bar during playoff game

Local News

Big news for the Bayhawks who learned late this afternoon that they’ll have all four NBA players back in the lineup for tomorrow night’s playoff game in Fort Wayne.

The Atlanta Hawks have assigned guards Josh Magette and Andrew White the third as well as forwards Tyler Cavanaugh and Jeremy Evans to Erie.  The team left after today’s practice with their focus on winning one more game to keep the season alive.

Head Coach Josh Longstaff said after their win Saturday, “playoff time we’ll have to be a little bit better than we were the last game. The focus has to be a little more and I thought it was there today”.

Raphiael Putney, who scored 32 points in the last game versus Fort Wayne, says, “we came a long way from the beginning of the season. We have guys here putting in the work and trying to get better. I feel like this is our time to make a push and this is a team we match up well against and if we come together as a team, we’ll get a ‘W'”.

And, the Bayhawks will host a watch party at the Arena Bar located at 723 French Street in downtown Erie.  Fans can watch the game and enjoy food and drink specials throughout the evening.

Tip-off is tomorrow night from Fort Wayne at 7pm.  The game will be televised live on ESPN U.
