NICU Donation 2

Penn State Behrend Nursing students are making a tradition of bringing donations to the Magee-Womens Hospital’s NICU Unit.  Many babies admitted here were born early, so parents may not be fully prepared.  These clothes will be used while the babies are staying in the hospital. Last year the students donated books for parents to read to their babies.  They say they hope to continue the tradition.  Brittney Carr is a Behrend Nursing Student who recently began working as a NICU employee here.  She participated in last year’s donation as well.  She says, “It makes me feel reallt good.  It makes me feel good knowing that I’m doing something for the babies and the families as well for the NICU and the nurses.”
