Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper will lead her 5th annual Bike Around the County ride on Friday, September 21.

This year’s route takes bicyclists on a 32-mile ride from Albion to the Erie County Courthouse.

The group of riders will travel by EMTA bus from the Erie County Courthouse to Albion, departing at 8 a.m. Once in Albion, the riders will set off on their daylong bike trip, traveling through Conneaut Township, Girard Township, Girard Borough, Lake City, Fairview Township, Millcreek Township and the City of Erie.

Stops planned along the way will showcase local history and other assets, as well as highlight Erie County initiatives such as the Erie County Parks, Trails and Recreation Plan, the Next Generation Public Safety Radio Project, Erie County Department of Health programs and more. Interested riders are asked to register by Monday, September 10.
