Thousands of bikers invaded downtown Erie Thursday night for the Bringin’ In the Roar Parade.
Bikers have traveled thousands of miles to take part in the 10th annual event.
“We went up into Vermont, crossed over into Canada, spent the night in Canada, and then drove down through into Buffalo and Erie,” said Bill Grimes, a New Hampshire resident. “We just took our time.”
Many Erie residents said the five-day bike rally is just a fun part of the summer season in downtown, but bikers from around the nation said the event is worth traveling for.
“When we come down State Street here, it is 20 rows deep (of people), just to see it is quite the spectacle,” Grimes said.
