Local News

In the wake of accusations of sexual assault against comedian Bill Cosby, the state of California has ended its statute of limitations for rape.

Cosby is charged in both California and Pennsylvania for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting various women.

Currently in Pennsylvania the statute of limitations for rape is 12 years.

There is currently a bill passed by the house that attempts to eliminate Pennsylvanian’s statute of limitations but has yet to be passed by the senate.
