Bill permitting Sunday hunting moves to PA Senate for a vote

Local News

The legislation which would allow for Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania is moving out of the committee chaired by local State Senator Dan Laughlin.

Laughlin is supporting the bill which would allow for Sunday hunting and also increase the penalties for those caught trespassing while hunting in the state.

Critics say allowing hunting every day during certain seasons would keep hikers and other nature lovers from getting out and enjoying the woods.

The bill now moves on to the full PA Senate for consideration.
