A final sendoff, befitting a hometown hero.  President George H. W. Bush taking his final journey to his final resting place on a custom-painted train named, ‘Bush 4141,’ in his honor.

This day of ceremonies beginning in Houston, at the same church where the Bush family held the funeral service for their matriarch, Barbara Bush, in April.  Where family and friends, including country star Reba McEntire, athletes and prominent Houstonians celebrated Bush 41’s devotion to family.

Dedication to service and commitment to faith.  Friend James Baker said, “You are safely tucked in now. And, through the ages, with God’s loving arms around you. Because our glory, George, was to have had you as our president and as such, a friend”.

President Bush will be buried at his presidential library next to his wife, Barbara and their daughter, Robin.  The burial will open to the public this weekend.
