Business owner charged with purchasing stolen TVs

Local News

Police have arrested an Erie business owner accused of purchasing stolen televisions.

32-year-old Christopher Loucks is charged with receiving stolen property. Police say Loucks purchased five stolen TVs from 30-year-old Dustin Powell, the man accused of stealing 10 TVs from the Crawford County Walmart on Saturday.

Loucks owns Bayfront Entertainment on the corner of East 12th and Ash streets. That’s where police say they located five of the ten stolen televisions.

Powell told police that Loucks purchased between 10 and 12 TVs from him over the past two weeks, paying between $250 and $400 per television.
