Business owners celebrate success at annual luncheon

Local News

An annual luncheon recognizes individuals who are successful in business and are giving back to their communities.

The Americans for the Competitive Enterprise System, also known as ‘ACES’ hosted the luncheon honoring Tom Kennedy.  Kennedy worked for GE but left his career to pursue his dream of starting his own business.

In the last 25 years, Kennedy has grown his business Professional Development Associates Incorporated.  He also serves on various community boards. He tells us, “This is really exciting! I actually quit my job in industry to start my own business and I really believe the foundation of our economy is free enterprise.”

Tim Houck of Saegertown High School was also honored at the luncheon as the ‘ACES Educator of the Year’.
