Professional bass fisherman Mike DelVisco will visit Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Erie on Thursday, February 28 to share fishing tips, answer questions, and sign autographs.
Adults can register to win a Texas Roadhouse Mike DelVisco fishing prize package including a selection of Yamamoto baits, lures from Rapala, VMC and Sufix fishing line, Browning sunglasses, and other items valued at more than $200.
DelVisco will be in town for the 2019 Erie Sport and Travel Expo, March 1-3, at the Bayfront Convention Center, where he is a featured presenter. On Saturday, March 2, the first 100 children through the doors at the show will receive a children’s cane fishing pole and a Texas Roadhouse Kid’s Meal Coin good for one free kids’ meal.
Texas Roadhouse restaurant will host a kids’ coloring contest open to children 6-12 years old. Four lucky junior fishermen will win:
• Cane pole with a hook line and bobber
• 4-pack of tickets to the 2019 Erie Sport and Travel Expo
• Entry to fish in the invitation-only kids fishing derby held on Saturday, March 2 at 9:30 am. at the trout pond in the Expo
These junior fishermen will have 15 minutes to fish. The contestant who catches and releases the most fish will win the grand prize – a Pirates adventure for four on the Scallywag including lunch for four at the Rum Runners Cove Restaurant. With over 30 years of bass fishing experience, Texas Roadhouse pro, Mike DelVisco, a full-time time professional angler, has competed on the Bassmaster and PAA Tours. Currently, Delvisco competes on the Bassmaster Open Series. He is a 2007 and 2008 Grand Slam, and 2009 Bassmaster Series National Championship qualifier, multiple time Regional Championship qualifier, and recently won the FLW BFL Super Tournament on Old Hickory Lake.
