Police are looking for the owner of a car found submerged in Gravel Pit Pond in Fairview. A fisherman spotted the car in about six feet of water earlier this morning.
State Police, along with rescue teams from Fairview, were called to the scene, along with divers from the Fuller Hose Dive Team.
Trooper Timothy McConnell tells us, “one of our troopers went in the water to see if anyone was inside the vehicle, no one was inside. We searched the area with negative results.”
The car had Ohio license plates and police are attempting to track down the owner.
