Centerville man behind bars after allegedly burglarizing motorcycle shop

Local News

A Centerville man is behind bars tonight following a forced entry into a Townville motorcycle shop.

Police say someone broke into the SIC Cycle Shop sometime Thursday Night or early Friday morning.  That shop located near the intersection of Route 77 and Highway 408.  A number of items were reported missing, including a 22-caliber handgun.

The investigation led police to 34-year-old Jamison Carr of Centerville.  He was arrested Saturday and charged with burglary, criminal trespassing and related crimes. Police say a follow-up search of Carr’s residence turned up even more items believed to have been taken at the motorcycle shop and elsewhere, too.

Carr remains in the Crawford County Jail tonight.
