The program ‘Variety’ helped spread holiday cheer and the joy of giving at Saint Vincent Hospital.
The children’s charity partnered with the hospital to transform the lives of 17 local kids with disabilities. During their special presentation, Variety presented seven adaptive bikes and 10 communication devices.
The true highlight of the event was the bike parade where children rode their new bikes for the very first time.
CEO of Variety, Charles Lavallee, tells us, “Instead of sitting on the porch and watching brothers and sisters, friends, mom and dad ride; every child wants to be a part of it and have the fun and joy of riding a bike. “
$24,000 worth of adaptive equipment was presented.
