Hundreds of newborn babies will sleep better thanks to Erie County baseball umpires.
The City County All Star Baseball Game has donated over $260,000 to local charities over the past 24 years.
For the past three years, the money has been given to the Saint Vincent Children’s Miracle Network, totaling $59,000. The umpires have decided to donate to CMN once again.
The money is used to purchase sleep sacks for every child born at Saint Vincent. Those sleep sacks help reduce sudden infant death syndrome.
The City County All Star Baseball Game is scheduled for Monday, June 13th at Jerry Uht Park.
