The city of Erie will conduct traffic studies on three streets. City Council has approved a resolution to request the City Traffic Engineer to investigate the need for more street signs.
The City Traffic Engineer will look at Parade Street between East 14th and East 16th streets for signage issues. The engineer will also look into ways to improve traffic flow at intersections on East 33rd and East 34th streets at Ash Street and Pine Avenue.
President of Erie City Council, Cas Kwitowsky says, “I’ve received phone calls about intersections on the west side of town also. I think that it’s prudent that every once in while we look at these intersections and see if they’re meeting the needs of today.”
The City Traffic Engineer will present her findings to the City Council.
