CONNEAUT LAKE, Pa. — The Conneaut Lake Community Development Committee is ready to put together a bid package and move forward to the construction phase of the Conneaut Lake revitalization and development project.
William Eldridge, the chairman of the committee, said they’re just waiting on two decisions before they can put bids for construction for the revitalization project.
“We’ve got help from our elected officials,” Eldridge said.” We’re waiting for those, and if we get those positive results then we go forward with the bid package this fall.”
One is from DCNR to approve a small change in the plans to make a connection with donated land between Fireman’s Beach and Ice House Park.
The second is with the U.S. Department of Commerce to build a parking lot at Fireman’s Beach.
Eldridge said they hope to have a bid package out in November and start construction in spring of next year.
