Conner prepares for final college game as Pitt faces Northwestern in Pinstripe Bowl

NEW YORK – Erie native James Conner will put on a Pitt uniform for the final time Wednesday as the Panthers battle Northwestern (6-6) in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.

The Panthers (8-4) will be led by Conner, the All-ACC running back who announced he will enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

Wednesday’s game will be televised at 2 p.m. on ESPN. 

Cathedral Prep grad Charlie Fessler is a wide receiver for the Wildcats. According to reports, he is ruled out for Wednesday’s game due to an injury.
