An Erie contractor is in court again today to face more charges for home improvement fraud.
40-year-old Darryl Baideme waives his right to a preliminary hearing in court today. He is facing six felony charges including false statements to induce agreement for home improvement services, receiving advance payment for services and failing to perform, misrepresenting or concealing contractor identifying information, forgery, deceptive business practices, and theft by unlawful taking.
Baideme was sentenced earlier this month to one year and ten months to three years and eight months in state prison after pleading guilty to fraud. He also pleaded guilty to additional charges and is awaiting sentencing in that case.
