Crawford County Man Injured In Stabbing

A Crawford County man is in custody & charged with aggravated assault after an incident in Hartstown. Pennsylvania State Police received a call just after midnight last night, from the victim, saying he had been stabbed at a residence on Coulter Street in Hartstown and identified the perpetrator. The victim was transported to UPMC Horizon in Greenville by ambulance and then flown by helicopter to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with a stab wound to the abdomen. Shortly after the incident, Nicholas Tingley, 26, of Conneaut Lake, called 911 and requested an ambulance for injuries sustained in an altercation. Tingley was transported via ambulance to Meadville Medical Center and was taken into custody after treatment for his injuries. Tingley is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. He is currently in the Crawford County Correctional Facility.
