Crawford warden, wife charged in theft

Local News

Crawford County Prison Warden Tim Lewis and his wife Debra Lewis are both charged with stealing nearly $133,000 from a Crawford County Moose Lodge.

The criminal complaint alleges that the thefts took place while both were officers of Moose lodge 2505 located in Cochranton.

The funds included monies that were to be donated to charity from small games of chance dollars. Another allegation centers around a rigged Bingo game that netted the couple some $2000.

Both were released after arraignment on combined $80,000 unsecured bond.
