Crews in Lake City respond after westbound train stalls, leaving locomotive immovable

It was a busy night for crews in Western Erie County after a train’s brakes have locked up, leaving it immovable.

There is no word regarding what may have caused the lock up.

Calls went out for responders around 10:05 p.m. Wednesday for the westbound train. The incident happened at North Creek Road near Williams Road.

Police and fire personnel are on scene. We do have a crew on location as well.
