A fire was reported in the 800 block of Ash Street around 6 a.m. Thursday morning.
Crews found fire and smoke on the second and third floors when they arrived.
Kim Zahala was asleep in her upstairs apartment when she heard a lot of commotion.
“I was sleeping in the upstairs apartment when I heard my neighbor yelling ‘fire,'” Zihala said. “I lifted my head and my kitchen started filling with smoke.”
The Red Cross was contacted to help out those who lived in the house.
