For nearly a decade, one non-profit agency has held a formal black-tie event at Perry Monument.

“Moonlight on the Bay” is an event hosted by the Crime Victim Center that brings community members together for a unique event at Presque Isle. The event raises money that helps people locally who are effected by a crime.

“We’re going to have fireworks for the first time ever to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We’ve been in Erie for 45 years doing our services so this is a big deal for us. It’s a huge mile marker and this is a great way to kind of end that celebration and remind people that if something happens to them, we are here for them.”

This is the 9th year for “Moonlight on the Bay”, which grows every year with nearly 350 people attending this year.
