The Crime Victims Center of Erie held their sixth annual Victims Rights Conference to educate counselors about how they can help victims.
The keynote speaker at the event was National Speaker and creator of the documentary, ‘Gridshock,’ Vanessa McNeal.
The session taught people how to care for those who have been exposed to trauma and abuse. The conference was also held in honor of National Victims Rights Week.
Filmmaker and National Speaker Vanessa McNeal says, “I just want to talk to people about my personal story, overcoming fear, and how we can overcome our obstacles.”
Over 100 people attended the conference.
