Dick’s Sporting Goods announces they will no longer sell semi-automatic weapons

Local News

The CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods says the chain’s decision not to sell AR-15’s, semi-automatic rifles, or high-capacity magazines was a direct response to the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead.

Another change means no one under 21 will be able to purchase guns, regardless of local laws.  Edward Stack, the CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods appeared on Good Morning America this morning where he made the announcement.  The ban on assault rifles also applies to Field and Stream stores, owned by Dick’s.
