DIGITAL EXCLUSIVE: Support steps up after homemade face masks are stolen

Local News

You may remember mask-erie, an effort started by nurse practitioner Bridget Hannon Foust on Facebook. The group was developed by Foust so her and many volunteers can make masks for essential organizations and workers in the region.

People in the group made 300 masks to donate and left them st one of the drop box locations for Foust to pick up. When she arrived, she learned some devastating news.

A lot of time goes into making these masks for people that need them. Volunteers and organizations are now helping Foust to ensure that the rest of the masks that are made will get to their respective locations in the future.

If you want to help, Foust is still looking for seamstresses to sew masks.
