For the past 27 years during the last full weekend in July, Discover Presque Isle has celebrated Presque Isle State Park in style. There’s so much to do. Fun crafts for kids or the hand made market place & food trucks for the rest of us.
Sheila Kelly has been coming to Discover Presque Isle for as long as it’s been going on. She says she’s seen a lot of growth in the event through the years. “You can wander down there right to the beach if you want to lots of shade and chairs and vendors,” said Kelly.
This year the free shuttle is running counter clock wise to avoid traffic and to make it easier on residents. The bus will have six stops in Presque Isle. “Especially if you have those who may have a disability so it makes it easier for everybody all the around,” said Fred Pope.
The giant bonfire will be tomorrow night at 9 pm.
