Small business owners can soon apply for the city of Erie’s new micro-grant program.
The Flagship Fund will be awarded to 3-5 businesses for awards of up to $5,000. The application window will open from July 1st and close July 31st. The grant is intended to support businesses that could spur other projects.
Brett Wiler, Business Development Officer for the city of Erie, says, “We’re really looking for innovative and creative ideas from the businesses. Ideas that have a multiplier effect.”
The Flagship Fund relies on interest generated from the city’s Economic Development Loan Fund.
