Dogs rescued from Erie home ready for adoption

Two dogs that were rescued from a Cherry Street house are ready to be adopted.

Officers from the Human Society of Northwest Pennsylvania rescued two yellow Lab mixes, Pumpkin and Bubby, from a home where 11 dead dogs were found.

The owner, Donald J. Vendetti, was charged with four counts of animal cruelty.

Pumpkin is 4 years old and Bubby is 8 years old and both dogs are at the Humane Society ready for adoption.
