Community Health Net says they’re working to reach people who don’t have insurance.
The organization held its annual meeting where they talked about progress over the past year and direction for the future. Community Health Net’s CEO, Craig Ulmer, says with the Affordable Care Act’s funding, they can still offer services to those who are uninsured, in spite of cuts
“Being a federally qualified health center, we still have our sliding fee available; whether a person has insurance or not, that will help them make the health services affordable.”
Some of Community Health Net’s goals over the next decade include promoting programming and community engagement.
