Interstate 79 was closed for a short time overnight, after downed wires were reported.
A motorist reported the downed wires at 2:45a.m. on I-79 near mile marker 181, about halfway between the Kearsarge and West 26th street exits. The wires came off of a pole on West Grandview Boulevard, forcing the closure of that road as well.
All of the roads were reopened at 3:10a.m. At this time, there’s no word on what brought the wires down.
