We now know where the outgoing superintendent of the Millcreek Township School District is going.

Dr. Ian Roberts has been named superintendent of the Des Moines Public Schools. In a letter to families, district leaders announced Dr. Roberts would begin his new role in Iowa on July 1.

Last week, Dr. Roberts announced he would leave the Millcreek Township School District after three years on the job.
