Driver extracted from truck after swerving on Perry Highway and flipping into ditch

Around 12:15 a.m. on Saturday November 6th a truck was heading southbound on Perry Highway and lost control while going through two mailboxes.

The truck eventually ran into a ditch and flip on its side.

When crews arrived on scene they had to cut open the roof of the vehicle in order to extract the driver.

The driver was alone and was alive on scene. The driver was later transported to the hospital and seemed unresponsive.

One witness who reported the accident to 911 stated that the driver was swerving all over the road before the accident occurred.
