Drivers in Pennsylvania are frustrated as the New Year begins with higher taxes at the pump.
The Commonwealth increased the gas tax in the New Year costing an extra eight cents per gallon.
The hike is the last of three increases over four years intended to fund road construction and maitenance projects throughout the state.
Many drivers say they are sick of increases at the pump and say they will be headed to Ohio to get gas.

“That takes our gas tax to the highest in the nation right now”, said driver Jerry Ricci “and I just think we need to curb taxing I don’t like to see any type of tax increases and I believe he tax payers in Pennsylvania are deserving of a break.”
