Edinboro Lake Reopens

This Tuesday, June 11, 2019, photo shows the raging waters in the Big Cottonwood Creek, near Salt Lake City. The summer’s melting snowpack is creating rivers that are running high, fast and icy cold. Pat Crawford Beach at Edinboro Lake has now reopened after closing for two days when high levels E. Coli was found in the water.

According to Borough of Edinboro Manager, Kevin Opple say they test the water for E. Coli every Tuesday. Adding in the two years he has been with the borough. They have not found high levels of E. Coli. It is unknown what caused the high levels.
