The Eerie Roller Girls are on a roll.
It was their home opener tonight at the Bayfront Convention Center. This is the first year the roller girls have used the Convention Center for their events.
It’s more than skating and blocking, the event also helps the Second Harvest Food Bank.
“We like to pair up with a charity when possible. We did it last year with Second Harvest Food Bank, you get in two dollars cheaper when you donate a canned good, so we’ll continue this through the 2017 season,”said Sarah Mazzone, team captain of the Eerie Roller Girls.
The next home bout will be August 26th at the Bayfront Convention Center.
