Millcreek Township analyzing the results of the Embrace Millcreek Survey and planning for changes in 2018.
Supervisor John Morgan says more than 700 Millcreek residents responded to the survey. The most common concerns amongst residents include code enforcement and fighting blight, stormwater management, and roadway planning. “We’re actually beefing up our Code Enforcement Office to have an actual Code Enforcement Department as well… so those are some of those changes we’re doing internally, so we’re ramped up and ready to go with plan implementation starting next year.”
The township is holding two community meetings in January. Residents are invited to discuss the results of the survey and hear the township’s ideas to move forward on changes. Meetings are January 24th at McDowell Intermediate School and January 25th at JS Wilson Cafeteria, times are TBD.
