EMTA expands its bus service. Starting tomorrow, busses will run four times a day between Erie and Corry. The Corry service started in 2015 and expanding it was always in the master plan.
EMTA says it’s a great time to expand because of potential college students in Corry that can ride the busses for free.
EMTA’s Executive Director, Mike Tann, tells us, “People in Erie that want to get to Corry and people in Corry that want to get to Erie… we can start to build that service up. That was the whole idea of getting out there is to connect all of those communities in that part of the county.”
Over the summer, EMTA added five new and a couple of used busses to their fleet. The new additions to the Corry service will not affect any current routes.
