The Erie County Board of Elections will continue to count mail-in ballots for this year’s primary nearly one week after election day.

The official canvasing of ballots was suspended on Friday evening, but the Board of Elections will continue on Monday morning at 9 a.m.

Election workers will also continue the separation of ballots from mailing envelopes which is also set to continue at the same time on Monday morning.
